Quality Cannabis Solutions is a company that is focused in offering a turnkey solution in the field of commercial cannabis cultivation as per the government and statutory requirements of SAHPRA, DAFF and current global standards.


The team is comprised of technical experts, regulatory experts and academically qualified members with vast experience and knowledge in the cannabis, pharmaceutical and law industry.


The team has hands on experience in the legalised cannabis space, having worked with licensed facilities, running daily operational requirements as well as working with facilities that are gearing towards the acquisition of licenses. In all this work, regulatory and compliance towards ensuring international GxP standards.





The team will work with you in the different phases of the project as per your requirement.

  • Help you in bill of quantities and help your finance team with business
  • plans required for financing.
  • Help you through the process of licence application.
  • Design compliant facilities that meet cGMP standards to allow for a seamless transition
  • from crop to product.
  • Help in the sourcing of material that is used in cannabis cultivation from construction
  • to final product.
  • Train your production and processing team once the licence is acquired and the team is ready for cultivation as per the procedures detailed in the SOPs.




1. Assessment of operations





In this initial phase of the project, QCS will investigate and work with the directors on a proposal for the best way forward for commercial cultivation capabilities. Support will be both remote and on site regularly.

The team will fully be available on instant messaging platform, video conferencing and emails for full and open communication with the directors. The team will get a report on the:



• Site status

• Funding status

• Licence application status

• Design/ building status

• Construction

• Equipment and supply chain status

• Operation and management status

• Compliance status





2. Building designs





QCS will work with the directors on proposed designs and technical functions of the designs.

Upon agreed designs that are efficient and compliant, the team will suggest on building partners, architects and engineers based on your requirements.

The conceptual space plans and designs will include all cultivation and ancillary areas.

These designs will focus on efficiently using
the space available for all processes of cultivation, processing, production, compliance, and security.



• Start-up equipment and where to source it

• Equipment specifications, locations, and electrical/ mechanical considerations

• Utility requirements and locations

• Building layout and floor plan, including pest management traps, security, biosecurity, lighting, HVAC

• Security system specifications, cameras, data storage, physical barriers, security personnel and security lighting





3 Licence procurement





The team will provide technical input and help with licence application to SAHPRA. This process will include:



• A setup of the Site Master File

• Site plans

• All background checks required for setting up

• Licencing requirements and payments.





4 Financial model and production forecast (moulded and designed for your area and needs based on your capacity)





This will aid the directors and owners in forecasting budgets and timelines.

A forecast will be built around the specifications of the client and populated to reflect the client's business model and facility specifications.

Forecasts will be delivered in Excel format and will showcase up to 36 months of cash flow projections.

This forecasting will be used as an analytical tool throughout ongoing business operations.

5 Equipment sourcing and supply chain management





Based on the financial and design models, QCS will create an initial quote with the client based on the relationships established with various suppliers in the industry.

• Lighting, HVAC, CO2 inputs





6 Management and oversight services





The team will review Standard Operating Procedures of the business to ensure they align with operational requirements, operational oversight in the initial stages (no limit on time of oversight), training and execution.

The team will be on the ground providing direction, therefore helping the client in operation and production for optimised quality control.

Production schedules will be designed and implemented at the director's peril.

The production schedules help in budgeting and setting up streamlined operation calendar, better financial forecast budgets, and informing different departments for when their full resources are required.

7 Intellectual property package





QCS will provide a customised intellectual property package that meets the highest levels of compliance and covers all components of your operations including Legal, Cultivation, Document Control, Inventory and Facility Handling, General Housekeeping, Security, GMP and Manufacturing.

This gives the IP package a combined total of components which covers all the required regulations and a complete system of Quality Management System.

Including the SOPs, the Training documents, Staff files, Company booklet on operations in hard and soft copies.

The IP package is business specific and not generic and will belong to the business.





8 Integrated Pest Management plan and disease mitigation





We will provide a full IPM strategy that complies with current EU standards according to the EU pharmacopeia.

The items included in the IPM include but are not limited to:



• Material Safety Data Sheets

• Personal Protective Equipment

• Sanitation procedures after foliar treatment

• Environmental pest mitigation

• Biological pest mitigation
